Ace Hood isn't sitting idle this year. The Florida rapper plans to keep his momentum going heading into 2018 with his latest single "Uber," which details a wild night using the popular transportation service.

The Bobby Kritical-produced track has a familiar trap thump but is a little more futuristic than most offerings. The beat sounds like it could just as easily be about riding in a spaceship while sounding perfectly placed next to the sound of modern rap.

Ace sounds very sharp over the instrumental, bragging about his career so far. "Came from the dirt but the whip clean/Never lose sight of the big dream," he rattles off. "35 G's for the 16/Bless up, millionaire at 18."

He's also living the life of a rapper, full of girls and partying. "Chillin' in a condo coolin'/Countin' up bandz wit' the toolie/Givin' out Xans to the groupies/Slim-thick bitch wit' a booty," he raps with the confidence of someone who's used to this lifestyle.

"Uber" will appear on Ace Hood's forthcoming album, but he's also been pushing his 2017 mixtape, Trust the Process, all over the country. He went on an international headlining tour last winter, dropping new music while on the road ("Testify") and released the song, "Be Calm," once the tour wrapped up.

The Florida native also sat down with XXL last year, discussing Trust the Process and some other updates on his career. "Next step for me is great music, consistent content on a consistent level," he shared. "Give the fans what they deserve. I owe ’em that. It's been long enough. It's important that I give them all of the things that they been waiting on."
