Months after GainesFM released his Smile EP, the Minnesota rapper is back with a new track and stellar visuals for his latest single, "Blame."

"Looking in from the outside, she's addicted to the spotlight," GainesFM raps over the OG Abi-produced cut as the music video begins. Freeminds Entertainment artist Shawn Lyricz appears on the track and the video as well, singing a verse about the high life before the song fades out.

The "Blame" visual, directed by Robert Henry Film and Matt Wales Media, has striking futuristic features. With the help of a 3D scanning company, GainesFM was able to give the scenes a trippy, hi-tech aspect, which blends perfectly with his lyrical delivery.

With the Smile EP out since early 2017, GainesFM has been keeping busy as he prepares for what will undoubtedly be a successful new year for his Freeminds Entertainment imprint. With a Chance The Rapper cosign, GainesFM is ready to push out two more projects within the coming months. The first one will be a collaborative effort with producer Rahki, who has worked with everyone from Kendrick Lamar to Travis Scott and Eminem. The second project will be EDM-inspired and is reportedly titled ThurstRap.

Stay tuned for more from GainesFM and vibe out to "Blame" below.
