Blac Youngsta Drops ‘I’m Innocent’ Mixtape

Blac Youngsta is currently facing some very serious legal allegations, in connection with the Young Dolph shooting in Charlotte. But he's letting the world know he's above suspicion on the new mixtape, I'm Innocent.

The new 10-song project features Ty Dolla $ign, Rae Sremmurd's Slim Jxmmi and OneInThe4Rest. Production duties were taken care of by TM88, Yung Lan, Cujo Beats and others.

While the Heavy Champ rapper is claiming he is inculpable, he is not doing so sheepishly. On the song "Birthday," he taunts Dolph, who he claims snitched on him to police. “Tell the whole world how you called around the city/Had a few niggas come and tell me you was sorry/Tell your fans the truth/Tell ’em how you really wasn’t trappin’, you wasn’t nothin’ but a barber (ho)/Tell ’em how daddy-o used to lil boy you, make you run to the store for a cigar and some water (ho)/Tell ’em how we had a show together, you ain’t come in ’cause you thought I was gon’ rob you (ho),” Youngsta raps.

The Tennessee MC announced the project last month, touching on the meaning behind the release in the caption of a since-deleted Instagram post. "I JUST REALIZE THAT THIS RAP SHIT AIN’T FOR ME THIS SHIT WATERED DOWN AND FAKE AS FUCK I’M OUT HERE FIGHTING FOR MY LIFE RIGHT NOW SO I THINK DIFFERENT AND LOOK AT SHIT DIFFERENT I DONE LOST SO MUCH TO THIS SHIT MF JUST DON’T UNDERSTAND ONLY IF YOU KNOW THEY GONE PLAYER HATE WHEN YOU WIN YOU KNOW THEY GONE ACT FAKE WHEN YOU SEE EM I WOULDNT WISH JAIL ON MY WORST ENEMY WITH ALL THAT BEING SAID THIS IS MY TESTIMONY…," he wrote.

Blac recently announced he is headlining his first tour, in support of the project. The I'm Innocent Tour will kick off on June 21 in New Orleans and make 13 stops in cities like Cleveland, New York, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and Dallas, before closing out in Houston on July 9.
