Pusha T will always be a rapper's rapper who can spit vicious bars with the best of them, but every once in a while, he reminds us that he's dynamic enough to tackle any subject or instrumental. Exhibit A: "Too Young," a smooth new electronic/rock song by Zeds Dead and Weezer's Rivers Cuomo. "Too Young" sees the G.O.O.D. Music president turn in an upbeat verse about the power of possibility. You can listen for yourself above.

On the track, Pusha sounds more like the encouraging teacher from your favorite coming of age movie than he does a former drug dealer, "The past is the past and it's old/The future is bright and it's bold/Bigger goals, bigger roles, bigger stage, bigger shows," he raps towards the end of his first verse. In his second verse, he seemingly takes on the voice of the suppressed youth, rapping, “No wonder we’re dreamers / Rejection, know very well, they didn’t believe us / We made them believers / You thought you ain’t need us / How you gon’ stop us now? The youth are the leaders.”

Cuomo's simple and cheery hook for "Too Young" fits perfectly with it's energetic electronic beat laced with piano. "Too Young, don't give up on life, don't, don't stop believing" the hook goes. "Too Young" will appear on Zeds Dead's upcoming album Northern Lights, which is set to be released on Oct. 14.
