Nipsey Hussle's Marathon Mondays series has slowed down a bit, but it has not stopped. A few weeks after dropping "Mark My Words" with Rick Ross, Nipsey returns with a new single titled "County Jail."

The Los Angeles rapper's latest song is produced by his go-to team, Mike and Keys, with a little help from Resource. Nipsey spits about his past legal troubles, specifically his time fighting a case before the birth of his daughter.

"Baby on the way then I caught my case/I went on the run and gave myself some time to think/Sitting in my cell, all I did was pray/Call home once a week and tell my people I'm okay/Ask me if I'm stressing, I say hell naw, I'm straight/But you can tell the difference cause it's written on my face," Nipsey raps.

Luckily for Nipsey, he was not spending any time in jail before the birth of his son. The "They Roll" MC and Lauren London welcomed a baby boy into the world back in August. The baby is the couple's first child together.

Outside of caring for the new addition to the family, Nipsey has been releasing a ton of music in 2016. The Cali rhymer compiled some of his early Marathon Mondays cuts for a mixtape titled Slauson Boy 2. Since dropping that tape in August, Nipsey has continued to put out Marathon Mondays singles. Nipsey might not be keeping up the furious pace he maintained earlier in the year, but the talented rapper is still releasing quality cuts on a regular basis.
