A week after teasing the project, Curren$y comes through with his latest mixtape The Legend of Harvard Blue.

Spitta offers up eight brand new tracks with no feature appearances. The majority of the production was handled by frequent collaborators Cookin Soul. And as you've probably guessed most of the material is straight riding music fit to be listened to while perched square in the middle of cloud nine.

We're not sure what has gotten into the Hot Spitta but he has been putting in major work in 2016. He annually puts out more material than 90 percent of the rappers out but he is going especially ham. This is the sixth mixtape the NOLA MC has put out this year alone. This almost matches the torrid run the rapper had in 2008 where he dropped seven mixtapes in a seven month period.

Since he came in the game, Spitta has been a mixtape monster. With his output only rivaled by the likes of Gucci Mane, the smoked out rapper has remained consistent throughout his tenure dropping dozens of free projects to fans. You can peep his entire mixtape discography here.

Curren$y will be performing on the festival stage at this year's Hot 97 Summer Jam. The festival stage performances should be extra lit this year as they will include sets by Chance the Rapper, Tory Lanez, Desiigner, Post Malone, Dave East, Justine Skye, Dougie F and Rotimi.
