Based on the timestamps in the bottom left corner, it seems IAmSu! has been sitting on this video for a while. While "Phone & a GMAIL" was included on his March release Kilt 3, the video for the track features a bunch of home recorded footage of the Bay Area rapper in France in early October 2015.

Directed by IAmSu! himself, the video includes such Parisian landmarks as The Louvre and the Arc de Triomphe, all while Su raps from a hotel room hallway. Kilt 3 is available now through Spotify and iTunes and features Sage the Gemini, Problem and more.

In a March interview with Fader, IAmSu! describes the sound of Kilt 3 as one he was intentionally seeking. "I found myself always listening to the Scarface soundtrack and the Flash Gordon movie soundtrack and a lot of older 80s sounding stuff," he said. "A lot of rock music. I wasn't necessarily trying to emulate that stuff but more so trying to figure out what made it sound so big. The hooks were so huge and the melodies were super strong and that's what I was concerned about with this... big songs, but still maintaining my aesthetic and what people expect from me in terms of beats and drums."
