Starlito Remembers How It “Used to Be” in New Video

Starlito's grind is unmatched. The Nashville rapper has been steadily releasing music for a decade now and only seems to get better as the time passes. The past couple of years have seen some of his best work yet with projects like Black Sheep Don't Grin and his collaborative albums with Don Trip. Lito's recent work has solidified his reputation as one of the most consistent artists in hip-hop.

While Starlito has stayed relatively quiet since his big move to Houston last year, the Step Brothers member makes sure fans haven't forgot about him with a music video for his track "Used to Be" featuring West. The video sees the two hanging around town as they reflect on how life used to be.

"Sometimes I get high and just reminisce/With my n---as, get so lit that I don't know how to remember shit/Now I'm into bitches with benefits/Take you back to when I was in the bricks with n---as who was getting bricks/We was on tour buses, no tour/On the road on the run/Now my whip and my washer, they both knew us/Streets love a n---a when his coke pure and you front n---as/Yeah, but they'll front on you when you going through it/I ain't try to fuck the n---a's gal, shit, we both knew her/How was I supposed to know he was close to her/I thought we were homeboys, that's what we both thought/I was taught never put a hoe before your dawgs/Sometimes I come across as know it all/Somethings I don't know at all/Like if the police involved then no sir, I don't recall/That's just my protocol," Starlito raps.
