Freddie Gibbs has had his own Soundcloud for awhile now, but this year he's utilizing it for all the right reasons. He just released a brand new track titled "Money, Cash, Hoes" that's a little darker than Jay's version, and it's produced by Beat Bully.

On it, he name drops Shy Glizzy ("My jewelry on but ain't no nigga gon' Shy Glizzy me") and Michael Jackson, who hails from Freddie's hometown of Gary, Indiana.

Back in January, Gibbs released two dope cuts on his Soundcloud - "Hot Boys" and "Dead Presidents Freestyle" - before absolutely slaughtering Kanye's "No More Parties In L.A." for his own, snowed-in version. Turns out doing a whole album with Madlib also grants you access to his other instrumentals as well.

Gibbs' latest album Shadow Of A Doubt might be his strongest LP to date. Featuring production from Boi-1da, Frank Dukes, Kaytranada, and Mike Dean and features from guests as eclectic as Gucci Mane and Tory Lanez, the project shows Gibbs incorporating more singing - which, if you follow him on Snapchat, should come as no surprise. He elaborated about using more melody in his interview with NPR: "That's probably a testament to listening to a lot of older R&B and newer R&B records. I just wanted some of the records to be a little bit more melodic. A little more catchy to bring — cause, you know, I got a certain fan group, and I just wanted to bring new people in, so — and I think that's what I was doing."

In addition, Gibbs just announced a tour across the U.S. starting March 20. Peep the dates below.
