Today (Jan. 20) was supposed to see the release of Mr. Blue Benjamin, the new mixtape from the Atlanta rapper Peewee Longway. While it seems that that's been pushed back for a second, he nevertheless decided to sate his fans with a new offering. "Jackie Tan," the cover for which features the martial arts legend dutifully iced out, pairs Longway with Wiz Khalifa and Juicy J, making it one of his highest profile singles to date.

The song is produced by TM88 (the cover art credits the larger 808 Mafia collective) and features his rolling trap hi-hats. For his part, Peewee adopts the crisp, staccato cadences that were pulled back into the mainstream by his fellow Atlantans, the Migos.

As for the other artists: Juicy J is currently working on Rubba Band Business 3, a joint effort with the producer Lex Luger. (Luger rose to prominence at the beginning of the decade, when he brash, abrasive sound became the blueprint for a handful of Southern artists including Waka Flocka Flame and Rick Ross; he went on to found 808 Mafia.) Juicy dropped three mixtapes himself last year: Blue Dreams and Lean 2, 100% Juice and O's to Oscars.

Wiz is currently working on a self-titled project of his own. Despite not dropping a solo LP, 2015 was a banner year for the Pittsburgh native--"See You Again," his Charlie Puth duet from the Furious 7 soundtrack, became one of the most successful rap songs of the digital age, blowing past the 1 billion views mark on YouTube.
