Isaiah Rashad is getting back into the flow of things. The focus of Top Dawg Entertainment was understandably on Kendrick Lamar during last year with the release of his critical and commercial success To Pimp A Butterfly. Add to that the necessary push behind Jay Rock's album 90059 and it's easy to comprehend why the rest of TDE took a backseat. But, it appears 2016 will provide the opportunity for the rest of the TDE roster to shine again.

TDE boss Anthony Tiffith recently hinted that Isaiah Rashad would be releasing a new project soon and the Tennessee rapper unveiled a song called "Smile" to set things off right. The track features a smooth beat as Rashad raps about coming back home and being greeted with smiles after all the success he has experienced.

Isaiah Rashad also released a video for the track, which does a great job of matching the vibe of "Smile." There's lots of smoke being blown in the car as the night sky creates a dark atmosphere. Director Panamaera also employs some shots of Rashad riding around town and various people reciting the chorus through an old television set.

No official announcement has been made at this time, but one would have to assume that Isaiah Rashad's next project will be his debut album. The Tennessee rapper released his critically acclaimed Cilvia Demo EP back in 2014, so it will be interesting to see what the talent MC has cooked up for his first full-length album.
