Consequence Taps Q-Tip for the New Song “No Matter What”

It's comeback season for Consequence as he breaks another hiatus to drop a body of work with his recently released A Good Comeback Story EP. Dropping the latest single off the project, Cons links with A Tribe Called Quest co-founder Q-Tip on the track "No Matter What."

On the song, the former G.O.O.D. Music rapper thinks back on past times and crimes and comes to the conclusion that things will remain the same no matter what. The track brings things full circle as Consequence made some of his first appearances on A Tribe Called Quest's 1993 album Midnight Marauders.

Cons, now known more to youngsters as a reality show participant than for his dope penmanship, was slated to drop his sophomore album Start Your Own Business last year, but the project was pushed back and still has no solid release date. Stream the new EP, here.
