Kevin Abstract Wanders Aimlessly in “Echo” Video

It's been awhile since Kevin Abstract has made his presence felt on XXL. After first being featured in The Break series two years ago, the Texas native is finally back on the radar. Kevin Abstract made an impact with his 2014 release MTV1987 and is now getting ready to drop a new project called They Shoot Horses.

The Romil produced "Echo" is the first preview of what to expected on They Shoot Horses, which is due out in 2016. The song sees Kevin Abstract experiencing some type of major loss and singing about the bad habits that he has fallen into because of it. The music video pairs up well with the melancholy vibe of the song as Kevin wanders around with no clear direction. At one point, Kevin is crawling across the beach as his psyche literally and metaphorically begins to crumble in his hands. The video is a well crafted story of man trying to get his life back on track.
