Listen to Chaz French, “Remember”

Chaz French has announced that his new mixtape These Things Take Time will be released on Dec. 11. Along with the project's announcement, the D.C. rapper drops the first single off the mixtape, "Remember" produced by Izze The Producer.

The track sees Chaz French reflecting on all the tough times he's been though in his life that made him who he is today. French also shows a keen ability to switch up flows on Izze The Producer beat. The single encapsulates the theme behind his new mixtape, which French spoke about via email.

"My first project was about my personal struggles and things I've been through," said French. "This time around I wanted to speak to the struggles of my fans and people who stumble across my music by addressing the struggles I feel like we all go through. Everybody has some type of struggle and that's what's shapes us as people.  We gain strength as we endure the struggle. Just know that the struggle isn't forever and it takes a little longer to get there when it's real. All of our blessings are coming... These Things Take Time."
