Listen to Vic Mensa, “Married To The King (Freestyle)”

Vic Mensa sounds fired up on a new freestyle released late last night. Mensa published the song on his soundcloud page noting that it was produced by Deputy and that the track reflects "Just my right now." Amidst clamoring drums, Vic details his hustle rapping "I'm married to the bitch, she married to the king/Til death do us part, death do us part." There's no questioning Mensa's commitment here.

Mensa recently sat down with Rolling Stone and discussed the ups and downs of quickly rising to stardom. "I have people who only know about me because of Jay Z and Kanye West [and] don't really know shit about me," he said. "When I put this music out, it'll clear the air and show people for who they really are. I don't give a fuck about the industry or media's acceptance of me. I really make music from the heart. And man, if you don't feel me, fuck you. If you fuck with me, I'll fuck with you."
