Getting caught doing something you know damn well you shouldn't have been doing is the worst. Up-and-coming Philadelphia artist PnB Rocks knows first hand. Today, he drops the video for his song "Alone" which is about losing a girl over lust. In the clip, he shows the bad side of sliding in DMs.

The song apparently came from a true experience. "I was cheating on my girlfriend at the time and knew that it was only a matter of time before she left me and I was alone," he explained to The FADER about the story behind the track. "My girlfriend in the video tried setting me up by testing me with another girl, and I took the bait.”

Now that's some ol' Maury Show shet right there. Check out the video, below.

PnB Rock signed to Atlantic Records back in August on the strength of standout tracks like "My City Needs Something," "Fleek", "Hit Me Up' and "FWU."

The uptown Philly native has a falsetto that has people making comparisons with another popular rap singer. "If you let people on Instagram on Twitter say that shit, they probably say Fetty Wap and Drake. But I want to be the next Hov," he told XXL over the Summer. "[Most] people really don’t compare me to nobody. They be like: “You got your own lane, with your own sound.” They say I sound like PnB Rock. People say they don’t know if I sing or rap."

Next week, he is slated to drop the new mixtape, RnB 3.
