What is Jeremih going to have to do to get a release date? The Chicago-bred singer has been pumping out hits for himself and others at an alarming rate, yet he can't get Late Night: The Album onto retail shelves. It was supposed to come out on July 17th, his 28th birthday, but instead all the "Birthday Sex" singer got was a DUI. Still, he pops up here on "The Fix," Nelly's first high-profile record appearance since he hopped on the remix to Florida Georgia Line's "Cruise." With a beat courtesy of DJ Mustard and his frequent collaborator--and one-time legal combatant--Mike Free, the song is chemically engineered for Top 40. Fans of Nelly's reality show, Nellyville, saw the cut come together when cameras followed the rapper into his session with Jeremih. There's no word yet as to whether he has an album of his own on the way, but the Cardinals are leading the NL Central.
