The new Eminem executive-produced film Southpaw starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Forest Whitaker, Rachel McAdams and Curits "50 Cent" Jackson is finally in theaters after years in the making. With the release of the Antoine Fuqua-directed boxing flick, also comes the motion picture soundtrack which was released to coincide with the movie opening. The 14-song collection - which was also executive produced by Em - includes guest appearances from Shady, 50 Cent, Action Bronson, Joey Bada$$, Busta Rhymes, The Weeknd, Teche N9ne, Logic and even an oldie but goody from the late great Notorious B.I.G.

As evident, Em has had his hands in every aspect of the film and soundtrack which is released on his imprint Shady Records. A couple weeks ago he put out the video for the song, "Phenomenal" a seven-minute mini movie which featured the Detroit legend getting his Jet Li on for most of the clip. Slaughterhouse also contributed to the soundtrack, recently dropping the video for their song, "R.N.S."

Speaking of soundtracks, Em is also involved in the one for the upcoming film, Straight Outta Compton. Kendrick Lamar and Dr. Dre are also on the SOC soundtrack. Yes, we will get new tunes from musically reclusive OG. “Dr. Dre, it took him 15 years to step out and say, ’I want to do music again’ in the way that he’s doing it,’” said Straight Outta Compton director F. Gary Gray. “The soundtrack is insane. Seriously, it’s incredible. He went deep and you can hear some of his influences, with jazz and soul and a little bit of funk."

The Southpaw soundtrack is now available on iTunes. Stream the entire compilation, below.
