Papoose continues gearing up for the release of his sophomore album You Can't Stop Destiny and today XXL premieres his latest single, "The Plug," produced by none other than the legendary DJ Premier. The track, which you can check out above, has a gritty, Western, bluesy feel complete with Premo's patented scratches and Pap's trademark swagger and braggadocio as he spits about having everything you need. It's a banger, no doubt, with Premier's beat switching up the formula repeatedly and keeping Papoose's bars fresh and vibrant.

"The Plug" follows "Mobbing" featuring Troy Ave and "The Bank" as the third single off Pap's latest project. And the Brooklyn MC unburdened his rolodex for the LP, with features from Ty Dolla $ign, Maino, Red Cafe, A.G. and his wife Remy Ma in addition to Troy Ave's "Mobbing" guest spot. Behind the boards he's got some of the biggest names in New York hip-hop, with Premier joined by Havoc from Mobb Deep, Ron Browz and Showbiz as well as DJ Tip, GUN Productions, Amadeus and Gemcrates.

Destiny will be Pap's second album, his first since his long-delayed debut Nacirema Dream dropped in 2013. But that's not the only news he's cooking up; last night, VH1 unveiled the new cast of Love & Hip-Hop: New York, which is set to feature Papoose and Remy Ma. The rest of the cast has yet to be revealed, though past seasons have included the likes of Joe Budden and Jim Jones, among others.
