Joe Carter played almost 2,200 games over 16 seasons in the major leagues, but he's remembered for one swing. It was October 23, 1993. Toronto. Game 6 of the World Series, Blue Jays up three games to two. Bottom of the ninth. Jays down 6-5. Rickey Henderson standing on second base, Paul Molitor on first. 2-2 pitch. Carter hits a three-run homer, Toronto wins its second consecutive World Series. The hero is immortalized in the photos and video of him leaping in the air as he rounds first base. The losing team? The Philadelphia Phillies. TMZ reports that the MLB legend is "honored" that he was featured as the cover art and he kids thinks he's a lot cooler now. "I had no idea [Drake was going to use that photo] ... I'm honored that he used it," he said.

"I waited four days, n---a, where y'all at?" Drake's patience has seemingly evaporated; early this morning (July 29), the Toronto MC let loose his second Meek Mill diss in a week, this one called "Back to Back." The new record, which borrows Carter's image for its cover art, is pointed where "Charged Up" was tepid. (For those playing catch-up, the rappers' beef stems from Meek's allegation that Drake employs ghostwriters, specifically an Atlanta artist named Quentin Miller. Miller is credited in the liner notes for If You're Reading This It's Too Late; Funkmaster Flex has played what appears to be Miller's reference track for "10 Bands." Meek has yet to respond to "Charged Up.")

"Back to Back" has nods to AR-AB, Charlamagne and William "World Wide" Wesley and leans heavily on the idea that Nicki Minaj, Meek's chart-topping girlfriend and Drake's labelmate on Young Money/Cash Money, is out of the ex-battler's league. To wit: "I don't wanna hear about this ever again/Not even when she tell him that they better as friends." Check out a particularly barbed excerpt below:

"This for y'all that think that I don't write enough/They just mad 'cause I got the Midas touch/You love her, then you gotta give the world to her/Is that a world tour or your girl's tour?/I know that you gotta be a thug for her/This ain't what she meant when she told you to open up more/Yeah, trigger fingers turn to Twitter fingers/Yeah, you getting bodied by a singing n---a/I'm not the type of n---a that'll type to n---as/And shout to all my boss bitches wifin' n---as/Make sure you hit him with the pre-nup/Damn, tell that man to ease up/I did another one, I did another one/You still ain't did shit about the other one"
