Asher Roth Delivers a Message in “Taking My Time” Video

The video for Asher Roth's “Taking My Time” featuring Camila Recchio is released today. Asher narrates a story of a man and a woman—played by Danny Caicedo and Lizzy Ashliegh—going through everyday life, encountering setback after setback. The message in the song is an important one. Everyone grows at a different place so don't rush things and move forward. It's a message most 20-somethings need to hear today. “Taking My Time” is off one of the top producers in the game and a native of Virginia EOM's project Sunrain.

The most recent release from the former XXL Freshman was the video for the Buddy-assisted “Sayin’ Whatever." Asher is prepping a project with the production duo Blended Babies. His last album RetroHash dropped April 2014. Watch the “Taking My Time” video above.
