Josiah Hotwire has been busy lately. The Harlem MC has been dropping music since 2010, but it's his latest mixtape, Can't Take Me Down, which he dropped in February, that's been making waves with features from Loaded Lux and Freeway filling out his bars on the 13-track project. Recently, he dropped off the music video for the tape's final track, "Heaven," a somber black-and-white visual shot in London by Mak Studios and Limelight Productions.

The gravel-voiced rapper tackles issues both social and personal, lighting a spliff for his dead homies while condemning the brutality and violence against the Black community that has persisted across the nation, particularly in recent months. The cut was produced by Turel Music, who provides the dope background for Hotwire's real and raw vocals. After lighting up five showcases at SXSW last month, the MC will be keeping the momentum going with a new project due out on 4/20 (which, by the way, start making your plans for the holiday now because that's less than three weeks away at this point) and the promise of a tour at some point in the Spring.
