Tommy Brown, the producer behind T.I.'s "New National Anthem" and other hits, has decided to step out from behind the boards. Making his first appearance in front of the mic, Brown enlisted singer Eric Bellinger and SEO god Travi$ Scott for "Trippin' On Me," a song that Brown describes as being about "typical woman insecurity." That might be projection; the three vocalists spend the entirety of the club-ready single scrutinizing their significant others, putting locks on their phones and wondering if the girls' night out really was so. The Pittsburgh-bred Brown raps as if he's been studying those in close proximity, borrowing elements from the new class of Atlanta stars. There are no concrete plans for an album yet, but check back with XXL for updates.
