Faith Evans Featuring Missy Elliott And Sharaya J “I Deserve It”

Faith Evans is back, and this time she's brought some special guests along. Missy Elliott and relative newcomer Sharaya J joins her on "I Deserve It."

Evans' new song recalls the more saccharine boom-bap of early '90s Mary J. Blige. Although the "I Deserve It" is about finding the right man, a lot of its vibes rely on nostalgia. For example, Missy Elliott quotes Salt-n-Pepa and En Vogue's famous "What a Man" collaboration and name drops her own banger "One Minute Man."

Evans didn't give too many details about her upcoming album, but she might be headed in the right direction if this track is any indicator.
