While many rap fans expected Nicki go back to roots, "Pills N Potions" is the YMCMB rapper combining hip-hop and pop. The Dr. Luke-produced song, which was co-written by Ester Dean, is a personal and emotional song about someone who hurt her in the past. With soothing singing, hard bars and more, this has the potential to be a big record for Nicki.

“Pills and potions/We’re overdosin’/I’m angry but I still love you," she says on the chorus. You can definitely see this song burning up the summer.
