despicableme-450x450

Pharrell drops some feel good music today by releasing “Happy,” one of the three original songs he contributed to the Despicable Me 2 soundtrack. The N.E.R.D. member once again has produced the soundtrack to the animated film with composer Heitor Pereira. The track oozes jubilation and one can’t help it but clap their hands and dance. The Neptunes hitmaker has also recorded a collaboration with Cee-Lo Green called “Scream” for the sequel. The soundtrack is set to hit stores June 18, while the movie arrives July 3. You can listen to the record below.

I THINK IT’S A SHAME THAT JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE DIDN’T GET THE NEPTUNES TO PRODUCE ANYTHING ON HIS 20/20 VISION… I THINK THEY WOULD HAVE PUT THE FINISHING TOUCHES OF GREATNESS TO MAKE IT A CLASSIC.- BUT THEN AGAIN THE NEW JT RIVAL “ROBIN THICKE” MIGHT ALREADY HAVE THIS UP HIS SLEEVE… HOWEVER THIS SONG IS PRETTY DOPE – GETTIN THAT MOVIE $$$ #ISEEYOU
