Video Premiere: Lil Twist “Understand Me”

Lil Twist has been subsequently quiet on the music front, but plans on making another run with a new set of visuals. The former XXL Freshman decides to jump on Chief Keef’s “Understand Me.” Directed by Sean Babas, Lil Wayne’s 20-year-old protégé offers his take with big boasts on driving fancy cars, snagging your girl and spending racks.

    Predictable. I don’t wanna knock the dude’s hustle because he still has an imprint (mainly because of his affiliates)….but Lil Twist is not really worthy of my listening. I chime in to see if there’s any growth. He’s not distinguished as an artist. Listening to this freestyle, there’s was nothing eyebrow raising. When you freestyle over someone’s instrumental, it’s your opportunity to do it better than them. This is few lightyears shy of remarkable. He still has growing to do.
