Earlier today Young Jeezy released his CTE collaborative mixtape, Bo$$ Yo Life Up Gang, which features contributions from Doughboyz Ca$hout, YG, Rich Homie Quan, Rosco and more. It's also pretty inspiring, which isn't surprising given Jeezy's track record for providing motivation for athletes like Michael Phelps and Serena Williams. In an interview with Revolt, the Atlanta rapper discusses why his songs inspire so many athletes, while also hyping up his new mixtape by saying it's probably going to be "one of the biggest mixtapes of the year."

Towards the end of the clip, Jeezy touches on working with young talent down in Atlanta and describes the process behind the creation of the new tape. "We worked every day and every night," he says. "It's like a bootcamp." Watch the interview above.
