I mean…I’m in favor of hip hop being more responsible, or balanced, with the energy they put out there…but I’m still a Jada fan, cuz he’s nice with the rhymes. But damn…they are really goin’ HARD at hip hop…and that worries me…cuz soon even those who are talented won’t be able to speak through street poetry without some community leader trying to shut him down. Who’s to say that they won’t do this to Nas next week cuz he says “nigga.” It seems like they’re just gonna start lumping ALL hip hop artists/rappers/MC’s together as degenerate low-lifes, and that’s as ignorant on their part as it was for Imus to lump all of the Rutger girls together as nappy headed hoes.

Please wake up people. We can’t get ahead unless we’re on the same page working toward the same goal.
