It’s quite amusing how these industry fueled magazined headed by people who have nothing to do with the true essence of the music in which they critique (i.e Arnold on C-Murder). The mainstream industry in which XXL et al reports on is no more than a prostitution ring, with rappers like Curtis Jackson being fashioned, oiled and molded by professional marketing companies (many are homosexuals) who dictate the image that listeners/fans perceive. Let’s not forget the real HCIC producers behind the scenes who buy the souls and mouths of these rap-trade workers, telling them what to put in their songs, serving the REAL agenda of those people who actually run the show.

Arnold is a small cog in the industrial rap machine that locomotes ever more into mainstream western media.

Words like “street cred” used to qualify individuals is an interesting device that THEY are all using now which permeats in the heads of every ingnorant fool who feels they need to do something bad to be accepted by society. Yes, SOCIETY is the target because they have moved HIP/HOP to the mainstream of pop-culture to corrupt society.

Where Rap previously was merely a movement contained within the communities and mentalities of a small minority, it has now been usurped by corporate and hollywood types who have re-packaged it and supplanted into the ears and of every child and individual for a high price - morality.

Therefore, most of the artists propagated in the media, movies and now video games are effectively “bubble-gum pop” stars. “Pop”, as in popular culture correctly defines who artists such as Jay-Z and Curtis Jackson really are. Unkowingly prostituted by their producers, editors etc. they are led around and manipulated easily through simple handling techniques using thier ego’s like a carrot hung over the eyes of an ass.

So the industry Arnold reports from is NOT of the element from which REAL motherf@ckers like C-MURDER represent. I really don’t think C gives a damn if Arnold can engineer “faults” for his pre-determined negative review - like finding so-called ironies (to comment on) that’s several layers deep for the pedantic critic looking for dirt.
Perhaps C doesn’t want to conform to Arnold and his industries cookie-cutter music styles and subject matter. Maybe Arnold is angry because C hasn’t sold his soul over to them (like mobb deep did).
Arnold should just stay the F@ck away from real m@therfuckers like C-MURDER B.G. and MAGNOLIA SLIM, because the music people like him make appeal to real gangsters and people involved in things they can relate to in the music. C has always explicitly stated who he makes his music for:
