Earlier this afternoon (August 25) popular celebrity gossip website tmz.com reported that Juelz Santana was arrested for allegedly threatening to kill his wife.
XXLMag.com spoke with the Harlem rapper’s longtime rep, Lynn Hobson, and apparently TMZ mistakenly called the woman in question Juelz’s wife. According to Hobson, Juelz is not married and the fight in question was with the mother of his child.
“Police were called to Juelz Santana’s Home in Teaneck, New Jersey at 10 a.m. after an argument between him and his son’s mother,” Hobson said in a statement. “LaRon James p/k/a Juelz Santana was then arrested and after review of the incident, police quickly released him. Santana is now back at his home.” –Jesse Gissen
