This is why it doesn’t make sense that all these people go on XXL saying Pac was trying to act hard after playing the role of Bishop in Juice. First off his Stepfather was on the FBI’s most wanted list, his Godfather Geronimo Pratt was convicted of murder, his Godmother was incarcerated for shooting a state trooper, and his mother was incarcerated while she was pregnant with him. So what did you expect Pac to really act like? And for your information 2Pacalypse Now came out a year before Juice, and featured songs like ‘Trapped’, the video where he is chased by a police car and raps behind bars, and ‘Don’t Give A Fuck’. The album was released after Pac won a few thousand dollars from a lawsuit claiming Oakland P.D. had beat him, and was spoken down on by Vice President Dan Quayle for it’s negative view of law enforcement. All these things before Juice was filmed. So all of you claiming the movie made him into his gangster image, check your history. Pac was already gangster dumb fucks, so quit hating on him.

I like Pac but i don’t like Pac this come from a dude who live that same shit me aginst the world could have been my autobiography . i hate to say it but pac wasn’t as real as you people think. Just because the majority of his family did some dirt on the streets and were involved in some black panther type shit doesn’t mean that it automaticly transfers to pac as well. Pac used to be on of my favorite rappers of all time until I saw a documentary about him called Thug Angel where they showed an interview with him when he was like 15 or 16 years old. He looked and acted real funny style. funny style like gay funny style. his voice and gestures were mad effeminate. i also think he let suge knight run game on him by gassing him up to start beef with biggie, which ultimately resulted in both of their deaths. Pac was never a gangster, he did a good job of portraying the illusion of being a gangster. But he never sold any drugs, and did any real dirt besides getting into disputes with police and shooting them claiming self defense. I know that 619 dude is gonna be furious after he reads my 2pac card pulling.

i still got love for pac, he is a legend, and he could really spit some ill darts and drop mad jewelz of wisdom. But he was an actor nonetheless, and he mastered the art of imitation. He is a case of life imitating art. Bottom line is this: the more years he spent in the rap game, the more cold and gangster his style became, until he became to reckless, and got himself killed. I am acutely aware of the events that unfolded in the NY studio where Pac got ambushed the first time. Pac was paranoid and in a state of post-traumatic stress physchosis which had a adverse effect on his ability to distinguish between reality and fantasy. I read the interview where he accused biggie and puffy of looking suspect, however I don’t think puffy and biggie were that threatened by pac to the extent where they would have to hire assasins to take him out.

I like both B.I.G and Pac’s music equally, but I do have one question. At the time that Pac got shot in N.Y and accused B.I.G of settin’ him up, what did Biggie actually have to gain by robbin’ or possibly havin’ him killed. Pac already was movin up in the rap game by then, Big was still tryin to make a name for himself.Just a thought

@ 619……..i do think his thug persona was an act, but i don’t think he started it after juice. Before i even start, he is far and away my favorite rapper and people think i’m obsessed with the dude. He acted like people wanted to see him act, when he was 17 or 18 he was all into the arts and shit and never got into ANY trouble until after he got his record deal.
