Is this BEST indie, or biggest BUZZ indie?? BIG difference….Always gonna be disagreements on lists like this. Not a bad list, although Kidz In The Hall and Crooked I belong up there no doubt. Kidz In The Hall have almost single handedly created the blueprint for using the internet to pop off. Same w/ Crooked, although he cant seem to get a real project out. Currensy has the look and the swagger, but there’s no way he’s done enough to prove he belongs on this list (doesnt mean he’s not a good rapper). If he wasn’t initially signed to Wayne, would we be talkng about him?? Also, independent can almost be broken down into sub-genres right now. Bun’s independence as an artist is WAY different than Tanya Morgans. Bun has two deals - one w/ rap a lot, one w/ asylum/atlantic. His budget is a whole different ballgame.
