This was a tough one to choose between. While Disc 1 offers a crisper listen, No. 2 did have its joints as well. The deciding factor was that No. 2 kinda lost some steam at the end with the U-God solo “Black Shampoo,” and all that. Still, a dope double dose of Wu.

Lyrics on point and both disc didn’t have much if any filler(I never did finish one listen of Black Shampoo).I still listen to As High As Wu-Tang Get, Severe Punishment,Older Gods,A Better Tomorrow,It’s Yours, Triumph,Impossible,Deadly Melody,Bells of War, and The M.G.M on a regular basis.

    The only 3 double albums that needed to be double in my opinion: all eyez on me, life after death, and wutang forever.

    Art of war was ok but had too much filler. Same with Blueprint 2 and Street Disciple. I always thought that Nas should have combined I am and Nstrdamus into a double album after he trimmed the fat of both. Shit woulda been classic.

    Theres no market for a double album today. Niggaz can’t even move one album, no record company is gonna invest in two. Think how much shit would leak ahead of time. Theres no place for it in the digital age, that format is out. The only artist I could see being capable of it right now : you guessed it, the whiteboy.
