Greetings from lovely Chicago

I hadn't planned to, but today I'm actually blogging live from here in Chicago. I'm sitting here in the lobby of my classy hotel out by the airport waiting for the help to finish cleaning my room.

Hopefully they aren't compelled by my generally gully demeanor to rush too much. I'd hate to get up there and find a pube in the sink or some sick shit like that, in which case I might have to get La Migra on the phone. Plus, Lolla doesn't start for a few hours still anyway. It's not like a slacker such as myself is in too much of a rush.

The flight up went well except for a slight hold-up at the security checkpoint. I must have caught them right when they were changing shifts, and of course the replacements had to show up on cp time. Does anyone else feel less safe knowing that airport security is being run by the kind of people who would have been at home collecting a check 20 years ago? I'm just saying.

Then, when I got here, it took fucking forever to catch a shuttle from the airport to my classy joint out by the airport. I called the hotel right when I got there, but this place is run by Indians (dots, not feathers), and the guy may not have understood that when I said I needed a shuttle, I meant right now, and not an hour later. Oh well. At least the wifi seems to work really well.

Also, I'm not sure what kind of "marginally fuckable white girl convention" must be going on in the area, but since I got here, which is not too long ago, there's been all kinds of more or less decent-looking pussy walking through the lobby. I'm sure it doesn't hurt that I'm still a bit drunk from a party I left only a few hours before my little brother dropped me off at the airport, but still. Hopefully this is a harbinger of things to come.

At any rate, I'm definitely jazzed about heading down to Lollapalooza, which is ostensibly the reason I'm here in the first place. I'm not sure if there's any groups on the bill that would interest the kind of hateful, ignorant fucks that frequent this site, but you can check out the entire lineup at the Lollapalooza website. I should have some sort of report for you bitches when I get back Monday either here or at my own site. Maybe both.
