We're only halfway through the year and rapper Rick Ross has turned up the heat, picking up where he left off in 2010 after releasing arguably the Hip-Hop album of the year, Teflon Don. This year Ross caught many by surprise when he introduced a new label venture he'd been plotting on titled Maybach Music Group. The collective features rap's next wave of MCs Meek Mill, Wale and Pill. The MMG empire would go on to make countless hits in 2011 off their swiftly released Self Made album leaving heads to wonder if the Bawse deaded his original group, the Triple C's.
