The pairing of lyrical monsters Common and Nas has Hip-Hop heads salivating for something they've been anticipating for years. The first offering from Common's The Dreamer, The Believer titled "Ghetto Dreams" with production from Kanye West mentor No I.D. was teased to the Web weeks ago and fans went crazy over the return of hardcore boom-bap rap from the two rap titans. However, some listeners may have been taken aback by Common's gruffer raps considering the Chicago born MC has become known as one of Hip Hop's most beloved ambassadors of late.

"I was like, 'I want a bitch that look good and cook good.' I was just thinking about being in the 'hood, what I want, and then the song goes on from there," said the Windy City rhyme vet in an interview with MTV News. "Right there I'm saying, 'Look, I want a bad woman.' She look raw and she could cook and she could get very elegant, but at the same token she has the know-how in the street."
