Adele Moves Past Eminem For Most Digital Download Sales

For the moment, English songbird Adele can claim a victory over Eminem although the pair is not at odds with one another. The soulful singer has surpassed the Detroit bad boy with the most digital sales of her sophomore effort 21 – passing Slim Shady’s Recovery album and giving her the top nod. Adele also has the top spot with physical copies of her latest selling over 2.6 million.

Eminem has nothing to be sad about as Recovery sits as the #1 album sold in 2010 with over 4 million copies sold in the states and over 6 million worldwide. Adele’s victory in online sales comes just after Eminem himself broke the record earlier this month. Read more...
