Several legends of old-school West Coast rap music assembled on Friday night to pay tribute to KDAY, the radio station that was instrumental in first transmitting many of their songs to the important Los Angeles market at the start of their careers.

“They play some of the other stuff that other stations play, but you hear these rare gems that no other station that I know of in the country is playing in Hip-Hop,” says Too Short, who headlined the sold-out “Krush Groove” concert for the station, performing for more than 6000 fans. Read more...
