Cali Swag’s M-Bone To Be Laid To Rest Today

As the family, fans and friends of Cali Swag District member Mante “M-Bone” Talbert awake this morning with heavy hearts, the news of his death at the hands of an unknown gunman in Inglewood, California continue to ripple throughout the hip-hop community. Sadly perishing at just 22 years of age, young Talbert will be laid to rest in Inglewood during funeral services to take place later today.

On May 15 around 10:30 in the evening, Talbert was shot twice in the head while sitting in his vehicle on North La Brea Avenue in Inglewood right outside a corner liquor store. There have been some speculative comments that suggested M-Bone may have been killed by a jealous fan, but police contend that they still have no motive or suspect for the killing. Gossip site TMZ reported that a man only known as “Bubba” – who appeared in a video with CSD – was in front of the store when the shooting happened and was also injured by glass from the gunfire. Read more...
