Trippie Redd pays tribute to XXXTentacion. Earlier this morning (Nov. 9), the 2018 XXL Freshman hit up Instagram to thank his fans and supporters after dropping his brand new project A Love Letter To You 3, and after he did that, he screenshotted the Apple Music entry for X"s new single "Bad!" and gave a shout out to the late rapper and his mother. He has some lofty praise for his former collaborator.

"I miss ZZZ 💔😪😪 love you goat best artist of all time members only forever thanks @cleo_ohsojazzy mom for making it possible for us to still listen to this amazing human," Trippie said in his caption for the post.

As you probably know, XXX and Trippie had collaborated for a track on XXXTentacion's debut album 17. Their collaboration is titled "Fuck Love," and it's one that finds the two genre-fluid artists crooning on about heartbreak.

In the several months that followed the release of their collaboration, XXX and Trippie got into some beef. They appeared to have squashed it back in March, but by May, Trippie had accused of X of biting his style. Despite their up-and-down relationship, Trippie has continually paid tribute to the memory of the rapper, who was shot and killed during a robbery back in June.

Before posting an entirely X-dedicated IG post today, Trippie uploaded a screenshot of the Apple Music entry for his new A Love Letter to You 3 project. In the post, Trippie gives a shout out to X and Lil Peep. Peep died of an accidental drug overdose last year and his posthumous album Come Over When You're Sober, Pt. 2 dropped earlier today.

"Personally my favs ‍♂️‍♂️ FIRE STARTER AND TOXIC WASTE THE BEST SONGS THO ALLTY3 OUT NOW LINK IN BIO GO DOWNLOAD AND ALSO GO SHOW X AND LIL PEEPS DROPS SOME LOVE i took a listen they are amazing," Trippie wrote in a caption honoring the late artists and his fans.

Back onto the topic of Trippie's new music, the "Dark Knight Dummo" A Love Letter to You 3 is the third installment of the his popular mixtape series. The 16-track project features contributions from Kodie Shane, Youngboy Never Broke Again, Nel-Denarro and Juice Wrld. Trippie previewed the collab with Juice last month.
