Travis Scott is taking a page of out Kanye West's book and has made his way to Hawaii with a superteam of artists to put the finishing touches on his long-awaited Astroworld album.

According to various social media posts from some of hip-hop's biggest names, Mike Dean, Nav, Gunna, Don Toliver, Sheck Wes, Allen Ritter, Amir “Cash” Esmailian, Frank Dukes, Sonny Digital, WondaGurl, and Wheezy have all been in the studio with Scott in Hawaii.

The news comes after producer Fki 1st teased a sequel to the 2014 Days Before Rodeo cut, "Drugs You Should Try It." It's still unclear if the sequel will end up on Scott's Astroworld.

La Flame has been teasing Astroworld since 2016, originally saying the project would drop in 2017. In August 2017, the rapper said the album would be releasing soon, telling the crowd at a concert, "I think this might be the last club I'ma do until my album come out and shit. I'm about to go away, in hiding for like a couple weeks, couple months."

While it's uncertain what direction Scott will be taking with the sound of the upcoming album, he previously spoke to British GQ about the project and said it may be the best music he's ever made.

“They tore down AstroWorld [an amusement park] to build more apartment space [in 2005]," he told the publication. "That’s what it’s going to sound like, like taking an amusement park away from kids. We want it back. We want the building back. That’s why I’m doing it. It took the fun out of the city.”
