The battle over the non-profit organization Donda's House is public and very messy at this point. Over the weekend, Rhymefest claimed Kanye West has given up on the youth of Chicago and refused to provide monetary assistance to the program they both started in 2011, which Rhymgest currently runs. Kim Kardashian came to 'Ye's defense and threatened the take the organization from under 'Fest's control. Now, with the organization announcing it will be distancing itself from Kanye even more, Kim has again hopped on social media to state her man's case, saying Yeezy is getting unrightfully blamed for DH's issues.

On Sunday (May 27), Kim started a thread on Twitter where she again addressed the topic. "Kanye and Donda started a charity called Loop Dreams," she started. "When Donda passed, they changed the name to Donda’s House. Kanye paid Rhymefest a salary to run it...After several years of lack of performance from the organization and Kanye going through personal financial issues, he could no longer fund salaries. Rhymefest asked to take it over and Kanye agreed with no financial strings attached."

Kim calls Rhymefest's actions a public shaming. "Kanye gave his 'friend' an opportunity to run an organization on his own," she wrote. "So now that Kanye is being publicly shamed for not being involved makes no sense and, at this exact time, just seems very calculated."

She adds, "I have and will always applaud any efforts to give back to the community. To fight for justice and to help uplift the youth. But I will never tolerate someone who was close to Kanye who attempts to use his late mother’s name to publicly shame him while pretending to do good."

Kanye West has yet to speak for himself on the situation.
