The guys of hip-hop collective SOB x RBE have garnered a huge buzz for themselves, but one member is getting more solo shine with a new record deal. Today (March 23), Yhung T.O. announces his new deal with Rule #1 / Interscope, which comes as he gears up to drop his forthcoming Misunderstood mixtape.

While there's no official release date for T.O.'s solo project just yet, fans are getting a taste of what they can expect as he unveils the visuals for his "Misunderstood" record.

The Bay Area rapper keeps things on the emotional side with the new Daps-directed music video, as he watches the dangers of getting involved in the gritty street life. The song and video also serve as an apology to his grandmother, who helped raise him throughout his childhood.

This isn't the first time that T.O. has prepared a project for his fans, as he has released multiple EPs in the past, including his Before the Fame project last year, as well as his joint project with Mozzy, Legendary Gangland, in December 2017.

While he is catering to his solo career in 2018, Yhung T.O. hasn't ditched his fellow SOB x RBE members. The West Coast rap group is currently on the road to support their Gangin album that dropped last month, and will soon be joining Post Malone and 21 Savage for their tour.
