YG's The Boogie All-Star Weekend event went down in a major way on Saturday (Feb. 17), in Los Angeles. The all-day event had a 3 on 3 basketball tournament during the day, and a showcase that featured Lil Pump, YFN Lucci, Kamaiyah and more that night. The event even had a surprise revelation, as YG announced his new album, Stay Dangerous, is on the way.

Before closing out the show, the "Twist My Fingaz" rapper paused to let the crowd know the good news. "Listen, I got a public service announcement and then I got one more motherfuckin' song," the Cali rapper started. "If y'all one of my real fans, y'all gon' be really motherfuckin' happy about this shit. It's been a long time coming. My new motherfuckin' album on the motherfuckin' way, Stay Dangerous, goddamnit."

After the crowd went nuts, he added, "Y'all the first ones to hear that shit. My motherfuckin' new album Stay Dangerous is on the motherfuckin' way!"

He then shut things down his newly-released single, "Suu Whoop." Initially thought to be a song on his previously-announced mixtape, Just Re'd Up 3: Know Your Worth, the banger now looks to be the lead single off the new LP, which will be YG's third album. It is unclear if he still plans on dropping the mixtape before the release of the studio album. His last LP, Still Brazy, dropped back in 2016.
