The Game is gearing up to head out on the road but according to the West Coast rapper, his latest tour was almost cancelled.

On Tuesday (Feb. 20), The Game shared the European dates for his 45 Tour and also revealed the death of his father almost brought an end to the trek before it could even start. "I personally apologize to my fans for being late with the tour dates etc," The Game wrote to his fans. "But after losing my father a few weeks ago I was going to cancel tour, album, everything because I was lost & in a lot of pain," he continued.

"I couldn’t focus on anything but my family & getting myself out of the dark place I was in...... after talking to my mother & thinking about what my father would want me to do for my fans, career & family," The Game added. "I’m proud to give my European fans the tour as promised with the dates... thank all my fans in Europe & around the world for the countless DM’s, support & love through this rough patch I’m going through."

The "Heaven 4 a Gangster" rapper's tour will kick off on Feb. 28 in Helsinki, Finland before the artist makes stops in Poland, Norway, Sweden, Germany, Ireland, England and more. The 22-date trek will wrap up on March 30 in the Netherlands. Tickets for the tour are on sale now.

The Game's father, George Taylor, passed away in January at the age of 65. According to a report, Taylor died unexpectedly in his sleep and was found by a family member in his Apple Valley, Calif. home.

While fans wait for the next Game project—his first since 2016's 1992—the rapper has said his next record, Westside Story, could be his last.
