It seems like Kid Cudi is the only person who can get Kanye West to touch the stage these days, and last night (Feb. 17), Cudder again brought out Yeezy during his performance at the Adidas 747 Warehouse St. event in Los Angeles during 2018 NBA All-Star Weekend.

Cudi surprises the hell out the crowd. In the middle of his set, the DJ begins to play West and Cudi's The Life of Pablo collab, “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1,” as Cudi dances wildly and directs his attention to the back of the stage as the intro drops. Finally, 'Ye emerges, wearing a dad hat, sweatshirt and shorts, and raises a finger to the crowd in appreciation. When the bass drops, the whole place explodes and Cudi and Yeezy power through the big track.

Compared you year's past, 'Ye has been mostly a recluse on the hip-hop scene following his hospitalization in 2016. Though he has definitely been working behind the scenes, instances of him performing have been few and far between. In November, Cudi was able to get West to perform during his Passion, Pain and Demon Slayin' Tour stop in Chicago.

Three months prior to that, it was reported they were working on a secret album together in Japan. At the time, sources were saying, “They’re going to drop some crazy collaboration out of the blue. They’re going to drop some surprise project on everybody. They’re recording it now.” The mysterious project has yet to materialize, but there's still hope.

On Valentine's Day, West broke his social media silence by posting a V-Day card on Instagram. He deactivated the account a short while later.
