G Herbo had been having a good 2018 following the release of his Humble Beast Deluxe Edition, but the Chicago rapper has now run into legal trouble.

On Thursday night (Feb. 22), Herbo was caught with a loaded gun during a traffic stop in the South Loop section of Chicago at approximately 10:35 p.m. According to the Chicago Police Department, the rapper, along with two other men, are now facing weapons charges after they were each found with a loaded gun.

Herbo, Deavonte Royale Kimble and Marchello Walton—who are from Compton and Phenix City, Ala., respectively—were each charged with one felony count of aggravated unlawful use of a loaded weapon in a vehicle with no Firearm Owners' Identification card, police say.

Things had been going well for the rapper, who originally released his debut album in September before re-releasing the project this month. The updated version of the album includes 14 new songs, bringing the total to 27. Guest features on Humble Beast Deluxe Edition include Lil Uzi Vert, Bump J, Lil Bibby, Lil Durk, Chance The Rapper and more.

In November, Herbo revealed he was expecting a child. The artist broke the news on Instagram, writing, "MY BABY HAVING MY BABY❤️.. YOU KNOW WHEN LIFE BE REAL & YOU BE REALLY LOST FOR WORDS SO A CAPTION BE THE LAST THING YOU TRYNA FIGURE OUT... SHIT IS REAL!!! I LOVE YOU ❤️ @therealkylesister."

G Herbo, Kimble and Walton are set to appear in Central Bond Court on Friday (Feb. 23).
