On Tuesday (Nov. 28), nominations for Best Rap Album at the 2018 Grammy Awards were revealed, and hip-hop fans had a lot to say—for better or for worse.

Up for the prestigious award are JAY-Z's 4:44, Kendrick Lamar's DAMN., Migos' Culture, Tyler, The Creator's Flower Boy and Rapsody's Laila's Wisdom. Many fans agreed that either Jay or Kendrick will walk away with the award, but others are holding out hope for another artist. "Personally i'd love to see tyler or kendrick win," one rap fan wrote on Twitter.

"I'm Going Wit DAMN. But Flower Boy Is A Great Contender," tweeted another. "Laila's Wisdom Was Dope As Well But Not Dope Enough To Beat Those 2." Another fan wasn't as kind to Tyler's Flower Boy, tweeting, "Tyler's album was trash wtf? And so was migos kendrick or jayZ gotta take this.. real rap."

One hip-hop supporter took it even further, vowing to leave Earth if K. Dot doesn't take home the award. "If @kendricklamar doesn't win i'd like to say goodbye to everyone cause i'm dippin off this planet."

JAY-Z's latest nod for Best Rap Album is his eighth time being nominated in the category, as well as Kendrick's third time. For Rapsody, Migos and Tyler, it's their first time ever being nominated for Best Rap Album.
