Master P and Kodak Black have apparently formed a very strong bond. Next month, they will be joining forces for a back-to-school fundraiser to raise money for the youth in Kodak's hometown of Pompano Beach, Fla.

The event is slated for Aug. 14, according to TMZ. The two rappers plan on giving out school supplies to over 1,300 area children.

P continues to take Kodak under his wing as he has been mentoring the often in trouble rapper for the past few months. Last month, P showed love to the Project Baby by putting him in his celebrity basketball game that kicked off the 2017 Essence Festival. He has also reportedly been giving Kodak game on the music industry and life in general. “Nobody’s perfect, I’m a work in progress myself. I got a second chance and I want to help inner city kids,” Kodak recently said in a statement.

P continues his philanthropic efforts. He recently gave out 10 scholarships. The proceeds from the aforementioned celebrity b-ball game went towards the scholarship fund that benefited the 10 kids chosen to receive the donations.

Music wise, Kodak has been dropping track after track, from “First Day Out” to “My Cousin” to “Just a Wrap Freestyle” to “Water” with NBA YoungBoy.

He is also finalizing his latest offering, Project Baby 2, which he recently previewed on social media.
